The Artex™ MIPS® offers an exceptionally compact design inspired by road racing. Plus a removable visor and slightly deeper coverage for trails or many kilometres on changing surfaces. The fit is extremely comfortable and secure thanks to our highly adjustable Roc Loc® 5 Air MIPS® system, which offers you a customised fit and additional protection against rotational forces in the event of a side impact. The outer shell is made of robust polycarbonate, which is firmly bonded to the EPS inner shell thanks to our In-Mould™ construction for greater durability and better ventilation.

MIPS - What is it?

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is an advanced helmet technology that plays a decisive role in protecting against oblique injuries. An additional sliding shell in the helmet reduces the rotational force acting on the head and brain. This minimises the risk of head injuries, especially during sporting activities such as cycling, where oblique impacts are particularly common. MIPS helmets offer improved protection and increase the safety of the helmet wearer.
